Naturalistic Neuroscience Conference 2026

We attended the Naturalistic Neuroscience Conference 2026 at University of Bonn!
Iris, Philipp, and David presented posters on their ongoing research and Lukas gave a talk on “Theta-phase locking of human neurons during the encoding and retrieval of spatial memories.” We particularly enjoyed the talks by Neil Burgess and Matthias Stangl on neural mechanisms of spatial navigation in rodents and humans.
The Naturalisic Neuroscience Conference (NN2026) is a new conference that spotlights substantive research, novel neurotechnology, and theoretical underpinnings in naturalistic neuroscience. NN2026 was hosted by CAIAN - Centre for AI and Neuroscience at University of Bonn, with support from NeurotechEU, The European University of Brain and Technology, and the iBehave network.
